tanya mclean, owner & creative director of mango design co, has an innate sense of design & a learned awareness for the planet. tanya has gained inspiration from the diverse cultures and architecture experienced on her extensive travels, and has gained insight into the social and environmental effects of the developed world. to be involved in the design industry, tanya knew she would have to strike a balance between her passion for design & her passion for the planet & its people.
tanya holds a business management certificate in interior design and an honours diploma in architectural & building engineering technology from bcit. she pursues ongoing studies in green design, urban planning & sustainable construction practices. her enthusiasm for the environment inspires not only her clients but also her friends, family and perhaps most importantly, her daughter, to rethink their actions & lighten their footprints.
